Sample Workout

Whether you are working out with us at home or in one of our facilities, our workouts are all the same formula but constantly varied combinations:

  • • 10 minutes total of cardiovascular intervals where participants are challenged to reach 90% of personal maximum heart rate multiple times with recovery.
  • • 20 minutes of muscular strength and conditioning. This is functional weight training performed with body weight, hand weights, bands, balls and some standard equipment like cable machines, pullup bars etc.
  • • 5 - minutes of core strength using a variety of movements.

While individuals can vary their workout to fit their current fitness level, here is a sample of what our members might do when they come in for their 35 Minute workout

Our Equipment

HEALTHCOACH believes in no-nonsense functional fitness. You won’t find gimmicky machines here, just proven basic equipment and functional body movements that gets results.

No More Excuses

At HEALTHCOACH, we believe that there are no shortcuts or clever tricks to getting healthy. It takes actual, physical hard work and sweat to overcome our sedentary habits and improve our long- term health. This active participation is what we call results. It is an investment in yourself and your future and is expected of all members.

It’s important as well to note what results is not. It is not a competition. Each member works at the appropriate intensity as determined by heart rate, not repetitions or distance. Results are also not mindless work. In addition to all activities being calibrated by our degreed exercise physiologists for maximum effect, our members often get a lesson at the same time. Topics range from education about nutrition to why the class is doing certain exercises that day to methods of stress-relief in our daily life.

Overall, we believe that it is this personal investment in health that creates the long-term behavioral changes necessary for sustained healthy living.
